Mission Statement 

Empowering Community Leaders to Raise Environmental Awareness

   Today, more than ever, our world needs a renewed commitment to environmental vitality. Zen Garden exists to empower leaders who are passionate about raising environmental awareness and inspiring sustainable action within their communities. 

We believe that a healthy environment is essential to the well-being, morale, and prosperity of humanity. Every individual must have access to the natural world, including direct sunlight, clean air, a water source, nutrient-rich soil, and thriving biodiversity. These natural resources are not luxuries- they are fundamental elements of a healthy and fulfilling life.

    Zen Garden envisions a future where every community enjoys clean air, abundant sunlight, pure water, and fertile soil for this home we call earth. While advances in science and bioengineering may offer solutions during times of crisis, we believe it is crucial to preserve the integrity and diversity of organic plants, heirloom seeds, and naturally balanced ecosystems that have sustained life for generations. 

    At Zen Garden, we believe that leaders are created through empowerment. By providing access to a full spectrum of gardening resources, tools, and community support, we help individuals become advocates for environmental responsibility and positive change. Equipped with knowledge and practical skills, our members can inspire others to cultivate healthier, more resilient communities. 

Zen Garden is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to making these goals a reality. Funding is supported through the production and promotion of plant-based essential oils, soaps, candles, and other organic products, with proceeds contributing to the development, sustainability, and growth of Zen Garden as a non-profit organization. 

The idea for Zen Garden stemmed in Miami, Florida. I travelled across the United States and eventually founded Zen Garden in 2025 in Olympia, Washington State. A year later, I returned to South Florida to take action where it is needed most. As a supporter of Zen Garden, you become part of an international network of individuals committed to environmental restoration, sustainable living, and community empowerment. Together, we are building a thriving movement that celebrates our connection to nature and our shared responsibility to protect it. 

As Maya Angelou wisely said, 

"We need joy as we need air. We need love as we need water. We need each other as we need the earth we share." 

At Zen Garden, we believe that we must do more than simply survive- we must thrive. And the Earth deserves the opportunity to thrive alongside us.
